Blood glucose monitoring system launches in UK

Global specialist diabetes care company, Ascensia Diabetes Care, has launched its Contour Next One blood glucose monitoring system in the UK.

The system, which logs blood glucose readings, helps people with diabetes easily understand their results.

It connects to the company’s Next One meter which helps users monitor their blood glucose levels. It also connects to the Contour Diabetes app, enabling patterns and trends to be revealed that can help people understand their diabetes, and may help to improve diabetes management.

The system and products allow patients a further degree of self-management. mHealth has the potential to improve outcomes and can provide easy access to valuable data for healthcare professionals and patients.
