DarioHealth to launch diabetes awareness programme

Digital health company DarioHealth has announced a new social initiative to help raise funds for charities and non-profit organisations working in the field of diabetes.

The company will launch DarioCares at the American Diabetes Association’s (ADA) 77th Scientific Sessions in San Diego later this week.

DarioHealth has said it will donate a portion of the proceeds of every sale made from its offerings of diabetes health products to organisations participating in the DarioCares plan. The company is currently in discussion with a number of organisations that are looking to participate in DarioCares. More so, DarioHealth will work closely with each participating organisation to maximise the impact of diabetes awareness.

Erez Raphael, chairman and CEO of DarioHealth, said: “The ADA conference is one of the biggest annual events in the diabetes industry. Many NGOs will be there and we look forward to strengthening our relationships with them and raising diabetes awareness. Furthermore, DarioCares is an excellent chance to play an active role with leading organisations that are driving change for people with diabetes. This is a win-win opportunity where we can make a significant contribution to the diabetes community.”
