At Medica Health IT Forum 2017 business consulting firm Frost & Sullivan will present the World Café, discussing healthcare megatrends and the role of connectivity and the internet of medical things.
Experts in healthcare IT, Siddharth Shah, Dinesh Kumar and Christina Rode-Schubert will three interactive sessions with industry stakeholders.
Attendees to the event will be able to find out how megatrends and the role of connectivity as well as the internet of medical things present great ways to transform healthcare.
The session on megatrends will examine how the industry is rapidly changing with technology advances reimbursement challenges, design needs and changing customer requirements. The role of connectivity in healthcare will also be examined. The session will look at how healthcare delivery is being changed by connected devices and the wide spread concerns about privacy and security.
The session on the internet of medical things will discuss the potential benefits that IoT presents to the healthcare industry.
The sessions will take place at Medica Health IT Forum on 14 November 2017 in Düsseldorf.
Each World Cafe will include a brief presentation followed by an interactive, collaborative round-table discussion session between various industry stakeholders moderated by experts. The collective, cross-representative voice of the industry stakeholders such as payers, hospitals, medical device manufacturers and health IT organisations will help the healthcare industry note key takeaways for better adoption of such technologies.
