Health record provider secures new funding to support growth

Patients Know Best, a provider of digital personal health records, has secured new funding from Harbert European Growth Capital Fund II (“HEGCF II”) to support its business growth.

Dr Mohammad Al-Ubaydli, who founded the company in 2008, said: “This represents a new era for Patients Know Best. We have the best patient portal on the market and evidence from one of the most advanced and stringent healthcare systems in the world – the UK’s National Health Service – showing the success of our approach. We are delighted to be working with a partner of the calibre of Harbert. This investment will help us to go further, faster by expanding our team and developing our digital platform to transform global healthcare services at scale and pace.”

Harbert European Growth Capital provides of growth capital that invests in high-growth technology companies throughout Europe.

Patients Know Best (PKB) is used in more than 60 hospitals in the UK, the Netherlands and Germany. The aim of the investment is to accelerate revenue growth in the UK and overseas.
