Clinical commissioning groups (CCGs) can now order a new app to help reduce appointment booking times.
Healthcare technology company, Vision’s new Appointments App is available for order and deployment to practices free of charge. The app aims to cut appointment booking time in half, saving admin time and reducing wait times for patients while booking or changing appointments.
The app is available under the GPSoC framework, which gives GPs and practice staff access to technology to support patient care. Technology under the framework is held to a rigorous standard and based on functionality, clinical use, clinical safety and sophistication.
Mike Roncone, Appointment App product owner at Vision said: “We have been working on the app for the last few years and are very proud of the new, simple interface, which we hope will improve efficiency and workload for our practice receptionists. It can work alongside existing Vision software but is built for the future, and we have many exciting developments to be rolled out to all users over the coming year. Therefore, we urge our customers to order through GPSoC as soon as possible to receive our new app free of charge.”
Vision state that the app is designed for ease of use through a simple interface. It will be used alongside the current Vision system so users can choose when to switch over to the new app.
